The Game

Fowl Scourge is a Top-Down, Action-RPG set in a gothic fantasy world. You play as Erwin, a member of the Plague Birds Guild; an organization dedicated to investigating a mysterious disease that’s turning people into vicious abominations. Tasked with handling outpatient contracts, you set out with one rule in mind: “If you can’t cure it, kill it.”

You’ll need all the help you can get to challenge the game’s 20+ gruesome bosses. Earn gold by completing contracts and spend it at the Guild (not a pyramid scheme, we promise) to arm yourself with new weapons and bodily enhancements. Employ them in different combinations to develop a playstyle that suits you!

Inspired by classics such as The Legend of Zelda: ALttP, Binding of Isaac, and Dark Souls, Fowl Scourge weaves a its dark fantasy setting with a combination of stunningly detailed pixel-art and an immersive, atmospheric soundscape.

The Team

Void Cup Games (VCG) is a party of 3, comprising of ButteredCoffee (programmer), JustHellygar (visuals), and Benimaru (audio). Officially formed in 2021, the remote studio was built on a foundation of mutual trust, shared tastes and complimentary workflow.

Drawing upon their collective experiences as freelancers in games, the team is currently working towards their first full release, Fowl Scourge.
